On Friday, February 19th, Come and enjoy a fun, social evening with great food, great company, and trivia! Notre Dame Trivia Night is open to everyone. Admission is $25 and includes: trivia contest admission, pasta and salad dinner, and snacks. There is a no-host bar with beer and wine.
Funds raised from this event will be used predominantly towards student scholarships, as well as the maintenance of our ND Alumni Newsletter and Web Site.

14TH ANNUAL GALA – “THE ROARING TWENTIES”
Bring your pearls, feathers, bow-ties, flappers and all that jazz at the 14th Annual Notre Dame Alumni Foundation Gala, “The Roaring Twenties.” The Gala takes place on Friday, November 18th, 2016 at the Italian Cultural Centre. Tickets are $75, and can be purchased through Mrs. DeCotiis at firstname.lastname@example.org. Homeroom Basket items are now being collected. For the month of October, Homeroom (B block) teachers will collect items towards a themed-basket. We would like to collect all items by November 10th, 2016. Students should first contact any family members or friends that can offer support. For example, if a family member owns a restaurant, then a gift certificate would complement the basket. If students are not able to find donated items, then he or she can bring in a cash donation of $10 and the homeroom will purchase items towards their themed basket. CAPITAL ASSESSMENT REACHES AN ALL-TIME HIGH…
With the addition of the Final Phase of our building project completed in 2015, Notre Dame continues to have growing support towards our building campaign! Family participation was 20% in 2014 and 33% in 2015. We are happy to announce a 48% participation rate in Capital Assessment for the 2016-17 school year! ND thanks all families for their ongoing support. Every donation matters, and again, we are looking for a contribution at ANY financial amount, as our goal is for a high participation rate. It’s not too late to donate – follow the link here. These funds directly support our $7 million loan. We would like to achieve 50% by the end of 2015. Please help.

Notre Dame invites you to our 13th Annual Gala, “Winter Wonderland” on Friday, November 20th, 2015 at the Italian Cultural Centre. Homeroom Gala Baskets
Teachers are collecting donated items for homeroom baskets during B Block classes. Forms were sent home on October 6th, or you can view the handout here. Please see the list for acceptable products and help support our Gala. Examples include gift certificates, hockey tickets, and new electronic equipment. Also, the Gala offers Sponsorship for companies and businesses – the Gala is an opportune place to market your company! Inquire with Mr. Dardano today.
FIAT RAFFLE 2015
In September, we launched our annual Fiat Raffle! Each family is asked to sell one booklet of 10 tickets and we are requesting families to begin returning tickets. Tickets are $10 each and are available at the school office. Extra booklets are also available. Your assistance in selling tickets is required for our success. Please note that all tickets, whether sold or unsold MUST be returned to the school office by the draw date in November. These funds help offset costs related to extra-curricular activities and other costs pertaining to our new building expansion. We will draw the winners at the Notre Dame Annual Gala on November 20th, 2015. First prize is a Fiat 500 Pop, second prize is an iPhone 6, valued at $940, and Third prize is the Sutton Place Hotel Package including one-night stay, parking and a dinner gift certificate valued at $500.

Notre Dame Annual Walk-a-Thon RAISES $30,000!
The Notre Dame Annual Walk-a-Thon lead by the Grade 12 Marketing Class fundraised $31,000 towards the purchase of the new school bus. Together with Mr. Charlton's $40,000, the school anticipates purchasing a new school bus this fall!

NOTRE DAME ANNOUNCES FUND DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Notre Dame has appointed Joe Dardano (Grad 2002) to the role of Fund Development Coordinator, to assist with a debt reduction campaign in support of the completion of Phase II, while also maintaining a partial teaching load. Joe's background includes fundraising for Simon Fraser University, teaching Business Education (Marketing), and grant application training, which are roles that will contribute to his new position. This plan includes various strategies aimed to target our community, families, alumnus and various corporate foundations, in order to help offset costs for the new wing. Joe's formal education includes a Bachelor's of Arts from SFU, a Bachelor's of Education from UBC and is currently completing his Masters in Educational Leadership. Fundraising Opportunities At Notre Dame
Our community participates in many fundraisers that contribute to various aspects of the school. Past campaigns have contributed to the construction of Phase I, athletics, fine arts, operations, and other programs.
Future campaigns will benefit a number of school departments and faculties, as well as the completion of Phase II, scheduled for completion in January, 2015.
